Victoria Jenkins went to art school to learn painting ... and discovered pottery. Combining hand building and throwing allows her to explore many themes, from traditional to playful. Far eastern art , and an interest in landscapes and water are strong influences in her work. She produces one of a kind sculptures, large planters and a variety of household wares. Victoria is a member of the Ottawa Guild of Potters. Her work may be seen at Surrounding Memories, Carleton Place, St. Elmo's Fire in Stittsville, Wood-n-Feathers in Merrickville and at her studio in Carleton Place. She also participates in Ottawa Guild of Potters sales in April and November. |
