Victoria Jenkins went to art school to learn painting ... and discovered pottery. Combining hand building and throwing allows her to explore many themes, from traditional to playful. Far eastern art , and an interest in landscapes and water are strong influences in her work. She produces one of a kind sculptures, large planters and a variety of household wares. Victoria is a member of the Ottawa Guild of Potters. She lives and works in Carleton Place, Ontario. Her work may be seen at The Virtual Art Market, Carleton Place and at her studio. (Please call ahead to arrange a time.) She also participates in Ottawa Guild of Potters sales in April and November. Victoria offers pottery classes at her studio beginning in September, January and April.
